Stamps & Cards
There is a box near the back door for used postage stamps to be donated for BMS World Mission. Please leave a 1/4 inch border round each stamp.
If you are clearing out old holiday postcards, there is also a box near the stamps. Amazingly enough, both donations raise several thousand pounds a year for BMS.
Sunday 21st January – B1 Church Leaders invite all local Christians to join them at an evening Service at 7:00pm at North Street Church which will provide an opportunity for local churches to worship together during the traditional week of prayer for Christian Unity (18-25 January 2018). The guest speaker will be Debra Green OBE, of ROC (Redeeming Our Communities).
Copies of the Barnabas Aid magazine for January/February are now available in the rack in the welcome area. Please help yourself. Rosie Marsh
Offering for the Work of the Church
It is not our practice to take up a collection during our services. There is a box at the back of the church near the door where offerings may be placed by those who wish to do so. If you are a tax payer, we can receive Gift Aid on your offering. If you would like us to, please put your gift in the yellow envelope, and fill in your details.
Christian Aid Book Sale
The annual Christian Aid Book Sale will be held on Saturday 17th February 10am – 12 noon, in the Main Hall at Taunton Baptist Church.
Please bring any books you would like to donate on Friday 16th February between 4pm – 8pm and come on Saturday to replenish your shelves. Books mostly priced at 50p.
Volunteers are needed on both days, if you are able to help please contact Caroline Venn.
We look forward to having Nigel Richardson with us for the weekend and leading our devotional times.
Nigel and Frances Richardson were previously members of our church. Nigel is the Operations Pastor at Danbury Mission, a church of about 300 in Danbury, Essex.
